Sterling Citric Acid, 500g

Sterling Citric Acid can be used for efficient descaling of coffee makers, kettles and dishwashers. The citric acid is also great for stain removal.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Descaling the dishwasher: Add 30 g./approx. 2 tbsp. citric acid in the soap container, and start an empty dishwasher. However, dull and matte glasses can be put in, as the citric acid will make them shine as were they new.

Descaling coffee makers or kettles: Dissolve 20 g./approx. 1.5 citric acid in 1 liter of cold water. Pour the solution into the coffee maker’s water tank or into the kettle. Turn on the machine and let the solution boil until it is empty. Afterwards, let cold water run through the machine three times. In case of severe limestone, repeat the treatment.

Descaling washing machines: Add 250 grams of citric acid in the soap dispenser and let the machine run an empty washing programme.

Faucet and shower head filters: Dissolve 20 g./approx. 1.5 tbsp citric acid in 2 dl water. Let the filters soak in the solution for approx. one day. Rinse with clean water.

Stain removal: Some types of fruit juice stains are removed by adding 1 part citric acid in 9 parts of water and rubbed on the stain. Always try a non-noticeable place to see how the fabric colour reacts to the acid. If the stain is dry, soak it with Sterling Glycerin before using citric acid/water. The fabric is washed after the treatment.

Note: Sterling Citric acid is NOT for cooking or fabricating of juice.
